Wow, two years. That is how long it has been since I’ve used this blog. The last time I made a post was while I was sitting in my senior year math class since it was primarily online, and I was ahead of the scheduled lessons. After that class ended, I made up too many excuses and let the blog die.
Well, here I am reviving it! I am about to enter my third year of college after this summer, which means I will be leaving my community college to enter a four-year school for the spring semester. I figured since I am a Communication major who plans to go into a field that requires a lot of writing, I should practice my writing skills while quarantined because of Corona Virus (especially since my news writing course ended).
I have been keeping busy and improving myself almost every day despite the quarantine. I have been baking, cooking dinners for my family, started running religiously, and workout every day that I can.
Remote learning also did wonders for my schoolwork. I finished the semester three days early and finished a class two weeks early. My grades were on FIRE and It made me stick to a routine. I loved it honestly.
Of course, I do miss the social interactions of my peers and having that one-on-one relationship with my teachers (wow, what a comm major thing to say). I do hope we go back in the fall as I am signed up for classes for my major that would be impossible to do at home.
2020 has been an interesting year to say the least, but we all must keep our heads up and do all we can to stay positive during these times.
Thanks for reading,
Elisa
